New decade.
New goals.

This year is quite peculiar in the sense that we aren’t just entering a new year but also a new decade. A whole new shift that we get to create. Our choices determine our future, and sometimes when the calendar has a new date, it’s helpful to clear the slate and create new goals. However, with it being a new decade, the goals become longer. 10 years of goals.

I like to set 3 different goals per year, and I am going to do the same for this new year as well as the new decade. The first goal is usually big, something that is likely to start and sometimes complete by the end of the year. The second is not as quite hard but attainable, and that has time as an essence in the process. The last goal is an immediate goal, something I can start the day I set it, something I can’t escape from something that it is a choice to achieve.

Now with this new decade, I have to think of 3 goals like the ones I set every year, but another 3 that will stretch over 10 years. This will be challenging, but if you know me, I’m always up for a challenge. 😊
